Dr Allegra Comba, DDS, PhD
She graduated in Dentistry at the University of Turin in 2010 with 110/110.
In 2013 she obtained a Master's Degree in Prosthetics and Implant Prosthetics with Advanced Technologies at the University of Bologna.
She completed the PhD Program in Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna (Supervisor: Prof. Lorenzo Breschi) and defended the thesis “The role of collagen cross-linkers in the stability of the adhesive interface”. She is now a post doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna.
Since 2011 she attends the Department of Endodontics and Conservative Dentistry of the Dental School Lingotto, University of Turin, directed by Prof. Elio Berutti.
Adjunct Professor for the academic year 2013-2014 as part of the annual teaching of Conservative Dentistry II for the integrated course of "Anatomical Modeling of Composite Resins" at the University of Turin.
Collaborator in teaching for the Degree Course in Dental Hygiene of the University of Turin since 2014 (subject: Conservative Dentistry).
Involved in the research activity in the field of adhesive dentistry and resin based materials, she has published articles in national and international journals and she has presented scientific works at numerous national and international conferences.
Speaker at various conferences in Italy and abroad.
Active Member of the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry (AIC) for which she will act as councilor elected for the 2020-2021 Executive Board.
She works as a private practitioner in Pinerolo (TO) - Italy with particular interest in conservative and restorative dentistry.
