Join us at the Annual Meeting of the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry

Allegra Comba

Dear Dentistry33 readers,

It is a pleasure to present you the program of next the Annual Meeting of the Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry held in Bologna from May the 5th to May the 7th 2022. The title “INTERFACES” will be an interesting opportunity to understand how different concepts, techniques and materials connect in our daily activity.

The AIC congress focuses on choices concerning the interface between oral tissues and dental materials, in a sort of ladder that goes from the pulp to the to the occlusion.

Our choice derives from the desire to bring to the attention of colleagues something that is often not emphasized enough. Indeed, we deal with interfaces on a daily base, as every time we do restorative dentistry we have to manage different problems related to different interfaces.

On Thursday, May the 5th we will open the meeting with the Pre-congress course of Dr. Nitzan Bichacho and the dental technician Giuseppe Romeo who will focus on the workflow between clinics and laboratory in the real world. The congress will continue on Friday, May the 6th with a lecture by Giovanni Zucchelli on the fundamental of the perio-restorative interface. Prestigious speakers such as Domenico Ricucci, Lorenzo Breschi, Allegra Comba, Stefano Patroni, Jan-Frederick Güth and Federico Ferraris will follow. Finally, Saturday May the 7th  Mauro Fradeani will go up on the AIC stage, again with Dr. Nitzan Bichacho, to examine all the other possible interfaces that the clinician should deal with to obtain a successful conservative and restorative treatment.

With such a panel of speaker you would easily understand how much is worth your presence in Bologna!

The Congress is also open to Dental Technicians who could participate in the sessions with dentists and students, but also attend a specific program held by Giuseppe Romeo.

As always, a series of  collateral attractions such as Lunch & Learn, the Company Workshops and various occasions to socialize and exchange opinions will enrich the congress package.

To conclude, a special thanks goes to the AIC Board who conceived and developed the cultural program and the group of speakers who accepted the invitation with great enthusiasm.

Italian Academy of Conservative and Restorative Dentistry is always ready to stimulate the desire to improve, transforming everyday life into a continuous search for the new and the best.

Do not miss AIC Annual Meeting… it will be an opportunity to see things from a different angle!
