Endo services market to exceed 5% growth

The global market for endodontic devices was forecast to grow at a CAGR of 5.10%, up from a 2021 growth rate of 4.70%, according to a report by market research firm, Technavio. The increase across the forecast period, from 2021 to 2025, includes a projected increase of $370.83 million in value between 2020 and 2025. The expected growth is based on advances in endodontic device technologies, and the availability through online purchasing, which has broadened the pool of potential buyers, including small dental clinics. 

When evaluating the market by geography, North America is forecast to lead the segments with about 30% of the worldwide market share. The geography’s top spot is due to the infrastructure of healthcare and government run dental programs in both the United States and Canada. The region also has more dentists able to complete endodontic device procedures. While the North American area will lead growth overall the rates of increased growth are expected to be slower in the geography as compared with market segments in Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world. 

While growth is forecast overall, the market is fragmented with many vendors. As the forecast period progresses, the market is expected to favor products with advanced technology and materials for growth. Differing approaches such as acquisitions, moving into new market areas, marketing user-friendly device options, and forming distribution agreements are forecast.
