In North America, the largest revenue-generating markets are the U.S. and Canada. This is due to the presence of numerous renowned vendors, the increasing prevalence of dental diseases, increased health care expenditures and greater awareness about oral health.

The CDC estimates that in the U.S., approximately 46% of adults show signs of gum disease.

The rise in the prevalence of periodontal diseases drives the growth of the market. In certain regions of India such as West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Assam, there is a 50% prevalence rate of periodontal diseases among the adult population according to National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) statistics.
