Planmeca and KaVo Announce Grand Opening of Shared North American Headquarters

Planmeca and KaVo Dental North America are pleased to announce the grand opening of their updated North American headquarters. The facility brings together Planmeca USA, a leading provider of dental equipment and technology, and KaVo Dental North America, a renowned manufacturer of dental handpieces and equipment. Serving as a strategic base for both companies, the headquarters supports North American partners and clinical users with high-quality products, reinforcing their combined stability and dedication to advancements in dental care.

The showroom highlights advanced dental technology across both portfolios, offering solutions spanning operatory equipment, imaging, sterilization, and handpiece innovations. Additionally, the headquarters includes dedicated training spaces for clinical education and technical support, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to their dealer partners and end users.

The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Tomi Kyöstilä, Planmeca Group Executive Committee member; Jan Moed, chief commercial officer of KaVo Dental; and Jukka Kanerva, senior vice president of Planmeca, alongside key team members from both companies. The Charlotte location will serve as a hub for continued education, hands-on training, and dealer engagement throughout 2025.
