The uptick is predicted based on the increasing number of cases of oral disease across the globe and advances in dental articulation technology. The new report suggests that the sector will grow at 6.1% CAGR during the forecast period of 2021 to 2028. 

As orthodontic care continues to be adopted worldwide and dental articulators become more efficient, the segment is anticipated to grow, according to the report. Such articulators can aid in restoring teeth with fixed prosthodontics, appliance accuracy, and biting surface fabrication for removeable appliances. 

Forecasts by segments of the market include that by product, semi-adjustable articulators will continue to garner the largest share based on new technology, including 3-D. The segment was more than 40% of the market in 2020. At the same time, aluminum is expected to grab the largest share of revenue by material. Aluminum [provides a durable yet light and ductile material, and reportedly gathered 40% of the segment in 2020.
