Ms. Victoria Green Serving as Interim Dental Hygiene Program Director

Pitt Dental Medicine is pleased to announce that on June 1, 2025, Ms. Victoria Green began serving as the interim program director for the Dental Hygiene Program.

Ms. Victoria Green, RDH, MEd, MPH graduated from the Pitt Dental Hygiene Program in 2010. In 2015 she received her Master’s in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh and then went on to a Master's in Public Health with dental focus from A. T. Still University in 2020.

Victoria has been involved in dental and dental hygiene education since 2011. She began her education career here at Pitt Dental Medicine as an instructor in the dental hygiene program and served as the dental hygiene senior clinic coordinator. In 2017, she joined the faculty at A. T. Still University School of Dentistry and Oral Health. In 2023, Victoria returned to Pitt Dental Medicine as an assistant professor and assistant program director for the dental hygiene program.

Over the last year and a half, Victoria has worked alongside Dr. Kelly Wagner to build a new bachelor’s degree program in dental hygiene which was successfully approved by the Provost’s Office in 2024. The Dental Hygiene Hybrid track is an integral part of Pitt Dental Medicine’s Regional Training Centers and provides a pathway into dental education for individuals in rural Pennsylvania communities.

Victoria’s expertise will offer the dental hygiene program the opportunity to continue to grow while we begin the search for a permanent program director in dental hygiene.
