Congratulations to all IUFW Dental Education graduates!


Monday, May 12, 2025, marked Indiana University Fort Wayne’s commencement ceremony, held at Allen County Memorial Coliseum Arena. IUFW’s Allied Dental Program graduated more than 50 students across Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, and Dental Technology. Yakelin Martinez was honored with the Outstanding Dental Materials Award.

Faculty Council Vice President Staci Schory, Dental Assisting program director, served as grand marshal, while Dental Clinic Director Steven Ellinwood, Dental Hygiene Program Director Jennifer Bryant, and Clinical Assistant Professors Colleen Painter and Wilhemina Leeuw were the Allied Dental marshals.

Dental Hygiene Class of 2025 graduate Annmarie Pollard sang “The Star-Spangled Banner,” while Adjunct Professor Katherine Randolph returned to sing Indiana University’s alma mater song from 1893, “Hail to Old IU,” for the second consecutive year.
