Recognition for a C$3.3 billion take-private that prioritized dentist participation and positions Dentalcorp to accelerate growth across North America
Dentalcorp, one of the largest and fastest-growing dental support organizations in North America, today announced that its January 2026 take-private transaction was named Private Equity Deal of the Year (Large Cap) at the Global M&A Network’s 18th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards, held in New York on July 23.
This transaction, which was notable for its size and complexity, reflected Dentalcorp’s enduring commitment to its dentist partners by allowing each dentist partner complete discretion over the treatment of their equity, including the opportunity to roll over their equity alongside certain members of management.
“This is a proud moment for Dentalcorp and for our partners,” said Graham Rosenberg, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Dentalcorp. “We built this company on one idea: Dentists deserve world-class support behind the care they deliver to their patients. We are honored to be recognized among the largest transactions in the market across all sectors. Our partnership with GTCR gives us the balance sheet and flexibility to execute on our significant long-term growth plans.”
With its recent entry into the United States and its position as the largest network in Canada, Dentalcorp now supports more than 650 practices.
“Graham and I rolled our own equity into our partnership with GTCR, and so did a significant number of our partners,” said Nate Tchaplia, President of Dentalcorp. “Looking forward, we have real conviction about the future growth of the business, and we have the people to execute on our plan. Congratulations to everyone recognized alongside us in a strong field. To the team who got this done, thank you.”
Dentalcorp is one of the largest and fastest-growing dental support organizations in North America, providing support for a network of more than 650 practices with nearly 6 million patient visits annually. Dentalcorp partners with leading dental professionals to deliver technology-enabled care through its model of frictionless dentistry, removing the operational and administrative barriers that slow clinical excellence.
