Dentalcorp, one of North America’s largest dental support organizations, today announced its inaugural Demo Day, a live dental technology competition taking place June 24 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The event will award a US$100,000 SAFE investment and a potential pilot opportunity to the winning company, with access to a network of more than 600 practices serving 5.7 million patients annually.
Applications are open now through May 15. Up to ten finalists will be selected by May 22 and invited to deliver live technology demonstrations in front of an expert judging panel and an audience of dental industry executives, investors, and operators.
“We have built one of the most sophisticated dental networks in North America. The clinical standards, the operational infrastructure, the people who show up every day and make it work. What we are doing with Demo Day is opening that up. If you have built technology that can genuinely improve how dentistry is delivered, there is no better place to prove it. This is not a competition that hands out a cheque and moves on. We are a partner with 600+ practices and the expertise to help the right solution scale. This is the first edition of what we intend to build into the most important annual gathering of dental technology innovation in North America.” — Nate Tchaplia, President, Dentalcorp
A Proving Ground for Dental Innovation
Demo Day bridges the gap between promising dental technology and real-world clinical deployment, addressing a challenge that has historically slowed innovation across the dental industry. Rather than a traditional pitch competition, finalists will demonstrate their technology in action, respond to questions from the judging panel, and compete for a prize package built around clinical access and long-term growth, not just capital.
Eligible technologies include dental AI diagnostics, computer vision, imaging technology, workflow automation, predictive analytics, patient engagement, and practice management solutions. Companies at prototype, beta, or market-ready stages are all encouraged to apply.
What the Winner Receives
The winning company will receive:
All finalists will receive a US$2,000 travel allowance and live demo exposure to a curated professional audience.
“What makes this different from most competitions is the deployment pathway. A SAFE investment is meaningful, but access to 600+ practices and 5.7 million patient touchpoints is a clinical validation opportunity that most dental startups never get. That is what the Dental Innovation Alliance looks for, and it is what the best founders in this space need.” — Kentucky Morrow, Partner, Dental Innovation Alliance
Expert Judging Panel
Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of dental industry leaders and technology investors, including:
Judges will evaluate submissions on clinical value, workflow integration, economic benefit for dental practices, commercialization potential, and strategic alignment with Dentalcorp’s vision of frictionless dentistry.
How to Apply
Applications are submitted through the official Dentalcorp Demo Day website at frictionlessdentistry.com. There is no application fee. Each applicant is limited to one submission. Finalists must be prepared to deliver a live technology demonstration at the Orlando event on June 24, 2026.
