Katherine E. Pfaff

Market analytics firm, Transparency Market Research, forecasts that the medical education market will grow globally at a CAGR of 5% between 2020 and 2030. The market’s uptick is expected to increase the 2019 valuation of $32 billion to $56.9 billion by 2030.

COVID-19 has pinpointed strains in healthcare and highlights the need for additional education of medical professionals, according to TMR. Additionally, the adoption of AI and other technologies will spur educational requirements and growth in the market.

Technology will also take the lead in terms of the growth of educational offerings, according to TMR. Education has expanded outside the classroom with established online tools, assessments, interactive learning platforms, ebooks, and educational videos, which provide flexible options for learning.
