Clear aligner group, ClearSmileNetwork, has partnered with CPA firm, JWC ERTC Advisory CPA, to assist dental practices with seeking unclaimed funds, which may be available from the recently expanded stimulus package. The March stimulus package made funds more accessible than previous requirements to seek either a loan (PPP) or employee retention tax credit (ERTC). Employee retention claims have capped at $7000 per quarter in 2021 and $5000 for 2020. The recent bill’s passage allows dental practices to receive both ERTC refunds and PPP loans; however, filing is still burdensome for many. ClearSmile has partnered with JWC to connect dental practices with a CPA company experienced with ERTC claims. Fees for the service are contingent upon receiving funds. While practice owners can compute these credits and build the audit documentation independently, the ClearSmileNetwork recommends their clients work with JWC Advisory CPA. They are solely focused on ERTC, which means the process is quick and straightforward for the practice owner, but they also work on contingent fees that don’t cost the practice owner anything out of pocket.
