Trend forecast: Increased dental laser procedures

Katherine E. Pfaff

Market analyst firm, BizVibe Insights, suggests that the dental laser market will grow as dentists’ use of the devices increases in procedures. The uptick in dental laser implementation is expected in dental offices in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.
Lasers allow dentists to conduct reduced or pain-free procedures, thus eliminating the use of anesthesia, according to BIzVibe. Procedures conducted with lasers also shorten the time spent per patient and free dentists to see more patients.
