ADA’s ‘Best of Class” technology awardee, Dentulu to expand into AI

Katherine E. Pfaff

Teledentistry company, Dentulu Inc, was last year given American Dental Association’s Cellarant “Best of Class” award. The firm is now building on funding provided from a seed round, including Google among its investors. Dentulu is expanding beyond its free services to add diagnostics, AI, communications, and office services.

The company will also be working with retailers to provide visibility for its apps and to draw new patients to dental offices. Dentulu is moving into product development as well; its MouthCam, a $99 intraoral camera for remote monitoring of patients, is set to launch.
