Arfona, Dentulu, Impress3D partner to increase access to tooth replacement

Katherine E. Pfaff

3-D printer and dental app firm, Arfona, has partnered with a software company, Dentulu, and online lab services firm, Impress3D, to expand the accessibility of replacement teeth to more patients. The collaboration will allow potential prosthetic candidates to be evaluated for tooth replacement virtually. The teledentistry platform is expected to be available in May.

As part of the new alliance, services that were previously available to dentists – Impress3D’s digital lab can be used to order dental prosthetics XZ ¬– can be used directly by patients. Those interested in prosthetics can register on Dentulu and be evaluated to determine if they are candidates; once approved, patients can meet with a dentist virtually and order an impression kit from Impress3D.  Arfona then digitally creates partial dentures in 2-4 days from a 3D scan or impression kit.
