Avēsis to award $250K grant to Dental Lifeline Network

Avēsis will provide a $250,000 grant to Dental Lifeline Network, which provides access to dental care through dentists who volunteer their time. The grant extends the work Avēsis, a Guardian Life company, has committed to increasing access to dental care for patients who are elderly, with disabilities, or have significant medical issues.
The grant will aid DLN’s program, Donated Dental Services, which serves patients without access to dental care, dental coverage, and who often have a disease that has not been adequately tended. Funds will help recruit volunteer students and volunteer dentists in particular states or treat veterans through a targeted program. DDS has aided more than 165,000 patients in receiving nearly $500 million worth of donated care since 1985.
