Technavio: Global dental surgery market expected to grow by $1.4B by 2024

Katherine E. Pfaff

Despite slowness in the short term, the dental surgical market is expected to pick up speed and increase incrementally at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6% between 2020 and 2024, reaching a value of $1.4 billion, according to Technavio’s recent market report. Growth YOY is predicted at 4.67%, with 3-D printing as one driver.

Other factors impacting growth in dental surgery are expected to be increased incidence of dental health disease, the proliferation of dental practices, as well as possible tax benefits and dental care reimbursements. North America holds the largest share of the dental surgical market and is expected to end the 2024 period at about 38% of the market.
