3D dental printing to grow more than 13%

The market for dental 3D printing is expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.4% by the year 2029, according to a report by analysts, Data Bridge Market Research. The market forecast period in the report was 2022 to 2029.

Market expansion was predicted on the higher rates of dental disease and deformities seen globally. The treatments required for these ailments necessitate advanced techniques like customized implants that are 3D printed for specific patients.

Due to advancements in 3D dental printing, practitioners can utilize intraoral scanning and create 3D models of a patient’s mouth. These technologies allow for better planning of prosthodontics and creating drill guides for placing dental implants.

The 3D printing technology also makes creating craniomaxillofacial, dental, and orthopedic implants possible. In addition, elements used in surgery, orthodontics, dental restorations, and dental implants can be manufactured with 3D printing.
