Ivoclar’s trusted Proxyt prophy paste is being rebranded to VivaDent Polishing Paste. Alongside this new brand name, the company has announced 2 fresh, patient-friendly flavors–apple and bubblegum–are now available to expand the existing mint offering.
VivaDent Polishing Paste continues to deliver the same clinically proven performance dental professionals have come to rely on. With multiple levels of abrasiveness and carefully selected ingredients, it is formulated to provide gentle yet effective polishing for a variety of surfaces, including natural teeth, restorations, implants, and prosthetic reconstructions. Even high-quality restorations retain their gloss, Ivoclar states.
The new apple and bubblegum flavors have been developed to enhance the patient experience–particularly for younger patients and those who are flavor-sensitive–without compromising clinical outcomes.
“The rebrand to VivaDent Polishing Paste better aligns with Ivoclar’s mission to offer smart, effective solutions that elevate everyday care,” said Gabby Burns, Ivoclar associate marketing manager in a press release. “These new flavors are just one way we continue to prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction.”
VivaDent Polishing Paste was officially launched to the U.S. last month, in mint, apple, and bubblegum and can be ordered through authorized Ivoclar distributors across the United States.
The Ivoclar Group, headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of integrated solutions for high-quality dental applications. Ivoclar operates in over 130 countries, with 56 subsidiaries and branch offices and approximately 3,600 employees worldwide.
