Dental consumables to grow at nearly 4% CAGR

Katherine E. Pfaff

According to a recent report, Valuates Reports, a market analysis firm, has forecast the dental consumables market to grow at a CAGR of 3.9% between 2021 and 2027. The market is expected to reach $31070 million by 2027, suggests Valuates Report, boosted by high rates of dental maladies and greater uptake in cosmetic dental procedures. The market was previously valued at $24690 million in 2020.

According to the report, a recent uptick in dental diseases and seeking dental care in other countries has bolstered the global market overall. At the same time, patients who have high incomes are seeking out cosmetic dental care. In addition, adding further to market growth, the population worldwide continues to age and experiences dental issues related to the elderly.

Dental implants took the greatest market share within the worldwide global consumables market, while lasers used as a dental treatment in conjunction with implants are a growing segment. The report classifies dental consumables as bridges, crowns, biomaterials used in dentistry, orthodontics, and periodontics.
