Dental consumables market to reach $49B by 2027: MRFR

Katherine E. Pfaff

Market analysts, Market Research Future, forecast the global dental consumables market to grow at a CAGR of 6.2% to reach $49.0 billion by 2027. The market includes dental implants, regenerative and restorative materials.

Growth in the global market is based on increased factors across several drivers, including aging patients and increasing numbers of patients with dental disease from poor lifestyle and eating choices. Advanced technology is also expected to boost the industry as computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAD) become ubiquitous. Additionally, the market will be driven by expendable income, spending in healthcare, improved technology, and increased interest in maintaining an attractive appearance.

Globally, the market will be slowed by a lack of devices in developing countries and due to cost or lack of insurance reimbursement in other countries. COVID-19 affected supply chains and development when countries experienced lockdowns; subsequent labor shortages have impacted production.
