The YSS Platform lets patients see a simulation of their own smile on any device within a minute, without a scanner or app download.
Banuba, a face AI and computer vision company, and Your Social Smile (YSS), a patient engagement and conversion platform for dental practices and dental service organizations (DSOs), recently announced a strategic partnership to help clinics attract, engage, and follow up with patients.
The YSS Platform lets patients see a simulation of their own smile on any device within a minute, without a scanner or app download. Depending on the treatment, the preview appears live in augmented reality or is generated from a single photo. Simulations do not replace clinical expertise and are intended to support discussions with a dental professional.
YSS defines which treatments the simulation covers and how each is represented, and takes the platform to market through practices, DSOs, and channel partners. Banuba provides the dental AR technology for live previews, combining it with generative AI for photo-based simulations.
“When patients preview a new smile on their face, they still have to look like themselves,” said Art Polzunov, Product Director at Banuba. “Doing that on everyday devices draws on our decade of face and video AI engineering. It also takes a partner that knows dentistry as well as we know faces. Your Social Smile is that partner.”
Practices use YSS on websites and social media, in waiting rooms and chairside, and in follow-up campaigns. Dashboard analytics show which treatments, campaigns, and touchpoints lead to bookings, helping teams track dental case acceptance.
“Our goal is to make treatment easier to see and easier to accept,” said Dr. Shuaib Khaderi, CEO of Your Social Smile. “The YSS Smile Simulation starts the conversation, and our platform helps practices turn interest into bookings. With Banuba as a strategic partner, we’ll reach more practices in more markets and keep improving the platform.”
YSS is expanding across the U.S. and internationally. Practices, DSOs, and channel partners can learn more at www.yoursocialsmile.com .
Banuba is an augmented reality company with more than 10 years in the market, pioneering artificial intelligence, face tracking, virtual try-on, and virtual background technologies.
