Solmetex, LLC Acquires ReLeaf

Solmetex, LLC, a leading provider of dental consumables and equipment, today announced the acquisition of ReLeaf, an innovator in hands-free, high-volume evacuation for hygiene and clinical procedures.

The acquisition strengthens Solmetex’s position as a category leader in patient safety and procedural efficiency across the U.S. and global dental markets, while expanding its support for both independent practices and Dental Service Organizations.

ReLeaf brings a proven track record in hands-free isolation, evacuation, and aerosol reduction, delivering greater comfort, efficiency, and safety for both clinicians and patients. As part of the Solmetex family of solutions, ReLeaf will further enhance Solmetex’s mission to help dental teams deliver confident, compliant, and exceptional patient care.

Gene Dorff, chief executive officer of Solmetex, stated, “Bringing ReLeaf into the Solmetex family strengthens our platform of patient safety and efficiency solutions. Their intuitive, hands-free evacuation technology complements our existing portfolio and helps us support a wider range of clinical needs. We’re excited to partner with the ReLeaf team as we continue helping practices deliver exceptional patient care.”

Phil Fraser, CEO of ReLeaf, added, “We are excited to become part of the Solmetex family. Solmetex has a long history of superior customer service and working with the dental industry. Over the past several years, Solmetex has invested to expand its sales, marketing, and customer service teams, making this the right time for ReLeaf to join Solmetex. Together, we will be able to make the ReLeaf product line more accessible to dental offices in the United States and Canada.”

Solmetex is backed by a group of leading global private equity firms, including GTCR, which recently joined the investor group, alongside existing investors AGIC Capital, Avista Healthcare Partners, and Gemini Investors, who collectively provide equity capital, strategic guidance, and operational support to accelerate the company’s long-term growth.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
