Menlo Dental Transitions Appoints New CEO

Menlo Dental Transitions, a leader in dental practice sales and appraisals, recently celebrated 10 years of success. Since the company’s founding in 2014, Menlo Dental Transitions has expanded nationwide, added skilled team members, and launched Menlo Business Brokerage to service general business sales. To continue this momentum, Mitch Lamb, MBA, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer to lead the firm into its next phase of growth.

Menlo Dental Transitions was founded in 2014 by Rich Andrus, MBA, SIOR, CCIM; Tanner Milne, MBA, SIOR, CCIM; and Matt Porter, MBA, CVA. The trio met while MBA students at Arizona State University. Recognizing a need for comprehensive dental transition services, they combined their expertise in commercial real estate and business sales to launch Menlo Dental Transitions.

What started as a specialized local firm in Arizona has grown into a nationwide company with 10 business advisors servicing various industries and markets. To support the rapidly growing sales team, Menlo has brought on two transaction managers, a financial analyst, and a marketing team.

The decision to hire a dedicated CEO reflects the vision the co-founders have for the company. Under Lamb’s leadership, the firm plans to more than double its sales team over the next three years and is actively recruiting to hit those targets. Menlo has recently implemented a robust training program to create a more cohesive team and ensure all clients receive the same five-star service.

Menlo Dental Transitions has built a strong reputation, and Lamb is excited to lead the company into its next chapter. He looks forward to expanding the team and services to better support business owners nationwide.

Before joining Menlo, Lamb served as CEO of a multi-million-dollar retail company, where he led strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, operational improvements, and creative growth strategies that drove significant expansion. He holds an MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Utah and previously worked in corporate finance, where he played a key role in structuring and financing mergers and acquisitions (M&A). With nearly two decades of M&A experience from both financial and operational perspectives, Lamb now brings that expertise to the advisory side as Menlo’s new CEO.

Co-founder Tanner Milne expressed enthusiasm about the future, calling Lamb “the right ‘who,’” and emphasizing the company’s ongoing mission to recruit values-aligned professionals who want to be the best in the business.
