PIERREL HAS ANNOUNCED THE MARKETING OF THE ORABLOC NEEDLESTICK SAFETY SYSTEM IN THE U.S

Italy, Capua (CE), February 8th, 2021 – Pierrel S.p.A, a full service global provider for life science, biopharma and pharmaceutical industries listed on the Italian Stock Exchange has announced the marketing of the Orabloc Needlestick Safety System in the U.S.,

The system is a single-use needle protection device that covers the end of needles after use to minimize the risk of needle sticks. The device is designed to also meet CDC and

OSHA requirements for one-handed needle containment.

The device is preloaded with 100 color-coded capsules that can be used with all needle lengths and gauges. It can also be used with bent or angled needles. The Orabloc Needlestick device adopts an easy-to-use, spring-loaded system that automatically advances to the next capsule after one capsule is removed. The color coding provides a visual notification when the device is running low on capsules. The Orabloc safety device helps protect against accidental needle sticks during recapping and temporary storage or when disposing of the needle in a sharp’s container. It also has a non-skid silicone bottom

to ensure stability on any surface while allowing for portability.

The Orabloc Needlestick Safety System, joins the injectable dental anesthetic, Orabloc, marketed in the U.S. since 2011, and redefines needle stick safety protocol. Branding the device as a private label of a patented product, Orabloc, the Needlestick Safety System

builds upon the product franchise.
