CANDID collabs with GPO

Katherine E. Pfaff

Clear aligner company, Candid, partners with Sevāredent Sourcing Solutions, a dental Group Purchasing Organization, to grow access to the teeth straightening treatment option. The partnership will connect Candid with the GPO’s network of 1,600 dental and orthodontic practices.

"Partnering with Sevāredent is a huge win for both of our organizations," said Nick Greenfield, cofounder and chief executive officer at Candid. "We're glad to see major players like Sevāredent recognize the value we can bring to their members, and we look forward to doing great things together."

The move is also expected to benefit Sevāredent’s customers by broadening access to Candid’s product, which is convenient and can help to meet the needs of clinical facilities that seek to treat a number of patients efficiently, according to the company.

"As part of our ongoing effort to help bring new innovative technologies and supply chain value to our GPO members, we believe Candid will help increase patient access to top-tier orthodontic treatment while equipping our clinical partners with the latest in clear aligner technology," said Blake Hibray, president of Sevāredent.

The collaboration comes after Candid reported it would move its CandidPro system from direct to consumer to only be available through dental and orthodontic professional practices.
