The IAOCI will hold its annual Congress in Atlanta from April 13 to 15. Learn more about the event and register by March 15 to take advantage of early bird pricing.

About Dr. Masanobu Saito

Dr. Masanobu Saito is an oral surgeon and CEO of several organizations including Go-En Dental Clinic Jiyugaoka, Inc., Japan Aspiration Pneumonia Prevention Association Inc., Seira-Kai, Inc. and JAOCI. He is also a qualified clinical psychologist, social worker and care manager in all facilities.

Saito has devoted his practice to all facilities he established with 30 years of experience in the industry. He graduated from Showa University Dental Department and has 25 years of implant experience. Saito frequently lectures about dental implants as a representative of a Japanese implant manufacturer. He has accumulated extensive skills and technique, especially for cancer and other patients, including people who are disabled, through his expertise since he graduated from Showa University Dental Division.

Saito completed an internship and additional training at Tokyo University Hospital and previously served as a director at the Cancer Institute Hospital Dental office. He served as a chairman at a medical institute related to the Cancer Institute for 10 years, transitioned to the eating and swallowing support center at a recuperation hospital, and served as a director.

He strongly recognizes the necessity of dental and oral specialists for people who are disabled and founded and established four institutes for that purpose between 2007 and 2022.

In terms of his work for the JAOCI, Saito recognized a feature of significantly less plaque adhesion for ceramic implants compared with metal implants, especially for people who are disabled.
