The market for oral care products shows no signs of slowing in the near future, based on a global report on oral care products for adults, by Market Research Store, a market analysis firm. The report forecasts a 6% CAGR growth rate between 2020 and 2026. In market price, the sector is anticipated to attain a value of $45,000 million by 2026, an increase from its 2019 valuation of $30,000 million.

The report was based on an analysis of the oral care market in two primary segments of dentistry and home care, the latter of which has seen a boom after the COVID-19 pandemic kept many patients out of dental centers. At the same time, technologies and devices have increased home treatment options for many would-be patients. 

Across the entire oral care market, the number of patients requiring or seeking care has increased. The uptick is thought to be based on higher numbers of dental disease owing to dietary choices, and increased interest in oral health and cosmetic improvement. At the same time, medications can exacerbate oral health issues by causing dryness in the mouth and other unwanted effects.
