The author poses questions to the reader, encouraging self-development in areas such as identifying core values and goals, supplemented with summary codas, emphasizing the key points to mastery. By using extracts from his own diary and entertaining personal stories, Walker-Finch uses his own life experience to illustrate key messages and connect personally with readers, creating a structured guide for dentists to find their passion.

The book finishes with an epilogue, consisting of quotes from dental professionals explaining why they love working within dentistry, which evokes a sense of connectivity with other dental professionals.

Overall, Hutchison said this is a well-written, comprehensive self-help book - aimed at supporting readers to explore their value in dentistry, focusing on the clinician's wellbeing, as opposed to offering clinical practical advice. It has a clear structure and is easy to read.
