“We are excited to announce the release of exoplan 3.0 Galway in the United States and enthused about the new possibilities it presents our users to enter the world of guided surgery,” said Tillmann Steinbrecher, chief executive officer of exocad. “exoplan 3.0 Galway provides dental practices and laboratories with a digital implant planning workflow that offers an open collaboration and maximum flexibility.”
The new exoplan 3.0 Galway software package can be used for implant planning with CT or CBCT scans for protocols that use dual scan planning. The new system also can provide surgical and fixation guides for dentures, including design with Guide Creator software for customized surgical guides. The guides can be designed with the software and made in a dental office, laboratory, or production center.
The software also offers better implant selection dialog, fixation and surgical guides that can be designed from scans of prosthesis, greater number of implant libraries including more than 378 implant systems, 6,572 implants from about 60 manufacturers.
"As the world's premier supplier of dental CAD software, we provide our customers with the ideal symbiosis of prosthetic and implant planning," said Larry Bodony, president of exocad America, Inc. "We enable our software users to achieve predictable results in a cost- and time-efficient manner, which can help drive greater customer satisfaction."
