Five UFCD Faculty Appointed CODA Site Visitors
Five UF College of Dentistry faculty members were recently appointed as new Commission on Dental Accreditation, or CODA, site visitors.
Congratulations to the following faculty members who will serve as CODA site visitors for U.S. dental schools undergoing accreditation site visits. They will serve on teams visiting dental schools as part of the dental accreditation process. The team members assess a program’s compliance with CODA accreditation standards and with the dental school’s stated goals and objectives.
- Wagner Duarte, D.D.S., Ph.D., is a periodontology site visitor for advanced dental education programs.
- Daniel Freburg-Hoffmeister, D.D.S., M.D., is a visitor for oral and maxillofacial surgery advanced dental education programs.
- Divakar Karanth, B.D.S., M.D.S., M.S., MOrth RCS, is a site visitor for orthodontics advanced education programs.
- Eduard Pocola, D.D.S., M.D., is a site visitor for advanced education in general dentistry programs.
- Panagiotis “Panos” Zoidis, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D., is a site visitor for the clinical and quality assurance aspects of dental education programs.
