TheraBreath Launches Dentist-Formulated, Clinically Tested Toothpastes

TheraBreath, the #1 alcohol-free mouthwash brand in the U.S.*, has introduced a new line of dentist-formulated, clinically tested toothpastes designed to support professional oral care routines. Developed with premium ingredients, including stannous fluoride, the new formulations are designed to be paired with the brand’s beloved rinses to deliver superior flavor while neutralizing the source of bad breath** for long-lasting epic freshness.

The new TheraBreath Toothpastes will be making their debut to dental professionals at the upcoming tradeshow ADA SmileCon October 23–25 in Washington, DC. The booth will feature influencers and free samples of toothpaste and mouthrinse.

The launch introduces three distinct formulations, giving clinicians flexibility in recommending solutions tailored to different aspects of patient care:

  • TheraBreath Healthy Gums Toothpaste – Formulated to help prevent plaque and gingivitis† while controlling breath for 12 hours. Clean Mint flavor balances peppermint and spearmint for a refreshing but gentle taste that supports daily use.
  • TheraBreath Deep Clean Toothpaste – Kills 99.9% of germs that cause bad breath, plaque, and gingivitis**; provides 12 hours of breath confidence. Fresh Mint flavor with peppermint and eucalyptus offers a crisp, clean finish.
  • TheraBreath Whitening Toothpaste – A peroxide-free formulation that removes surface stains, leaving teeth smooth and polished, with visible whitening after one week of twice-daily brushing. Dazzling Mint flavor combines fresh mint and cooling menthol for a long-lasting clean-mouth feel.

“The expansion of TheraBreath into the toothpaste category reinforces our commitment to providing dentist-developed, science-backed oral care solutions,” said Anthony Cirigliano, lead product development engineer for TheraBreath. “These formulations were tested for efficacy and designed to offer the efficacy that dental professionals expect and results that patients need.”

TheraBreath Toothpastes may be paired with TheraBreath Oral Rinses to power up at-home hygiene routines and give patients ultimate fresh-breath confidence.

About TheraBreath

In 2021, the TheraBreath brand was acquired by Church & Dwight Co., Inc., becoming the latest addition to its family of oral care products that include Waterpik water flossers, ARM & HAMMER toothpaste, and Spinbrush toothbrushes. TheraBreath’s founder, Dr. Harold Katz, created the oral care rinses at the California Breath Clinics over 30 years ago. TheraBreath products are revolutionary because they attack the germs that cause bad breath. TheraBreath has grown to have an extensive line of oral care products that address issues such as gum health, teeth whitening, cavity prevention, and dry mouth symptoms.
