1. Why did TheraBreath create a toothpaste? What makes it different?
TheraBreath’ s toothpaste was created in response to an increasing demand from dental professionals and the millions of avid Tik Tok TheraBreath oral rinse fans. Expanding from oral rinse to toothpaste was a natural evolution to provide a toothpaste that can be paired with the popular TheraBreath oral rinse.
TheraBreath toothpaste is set apart by its commitment to the brand’s science-driven, patient-centered standards which reinforce the TheraBreath commitment to dentist-formulated, revolutionary oral care that combines proven efficacy with a superior, sensorial experience.
The TheraBreath toothpaste line is formulated to address top oral concerns such as bleeding gums, bad breath, sensitivity, and safe whitening. Additionally, the toothpastes were formulated with patient experience in mind. We know that when a patient enjoys using a product they are more likely to achieve their oral health goals–making flavor, texture and tastes a top priority! The flavor profiles were all tested with consumers prior to the product launch to ensure the toothpastes would provide a pleasant, non-burning, and enjoyable experience for patients.
2. How does the sensitive toothpaste work?
The sensitive toothpaste is formulated with potassium nitrate to help relieve and protect against painful tooth sensitivity providing 24/7 relief*. Also protecting against cavities and providing gentle whitening, the formula is SLS-free and neutralizes the source of bad breath. A delightful new option for sensitive patients.
3. The Healthy Gums has stannous fluoride; does it stain?
Healthy Gums and Deep Clean toothpaste are formulated with Stannous Fluoride; specifically formulated to help prevent staining. The other two variants, Sensitive and Whitening are formulated with sodium fluoride and both provide gentle whitening.
4. What do I need to know about the clinical studies?
In it’s commitment to science-driven products, TheraBreath has conducted eight clinical studies across the new toothpaste line. For example, TheraBreath Healthy Gums toothpaste was tested in three different clinical studies. One study was a plaque reduction study. After just one day of use, there was as much as a 65% reduction in plaque.* The study showed that TheraBreath Healthy Gums toothpaste protects and controls plaque buildup along the gumline for 24 hours. A second study was focused on malodor. This study showed TheraBreath Healthy Gums toothpaste virtually eliminates bad breath after each use and fights bad breath for 12 hours. The third study was a gingivitis study. In this study 100% of participants showed reduced plaque and gingivitis after 8 weeks with twice daily brushing!
