evowera receives ADA seal for toothbrush

Consumer electronic company, evowera, has been awarded the American Dental Association’s Seal of Acceptance for the company’s planck O1 sonic toothbrush. The electronic toothbrush is the inaugural product of evowera.

The toothbrush offers 42,000 strokes each minute though this is achieved with a motor that creates reduced noise. Designed to provide a comfortable experience, the toothbrush represents the first use of the company’s motor in a dental care product.

Evowera’s toothbrush also can be customized to the user with its “adaptive” setting that uses daily behavior in brushing and data provided by the user to create targets. After brushing, a report is generated that provides information on pressure applied and areas missed.

The report is provided via a display on the toothbrush. The battery power and status of the toothbrush head is also monitored.

"We want to help users improve their brushing efficiency and quality by providing more intuitive options. Our team has devoted itself to the oral hygiene industry for 5 years now, tirelessly concentrating on pushing the limits of technology in this field,” said by Yihan liu, chief executive officer at evowera. “Through increased technological breakthroughs, we believe we can offer more advanced oral products to consumers moving forward, allowing them to enjoy the ultimate dental experience in their own homes. We believe small improvements enable people to live more intelligent lives."
