Candid and Vivos launch collaboration on OSA

Katherine E. Pfaff

Oral care digital platform company, Candid Care Co., and medical technology company, Vivos Therapeutics Inc., have entered a joint project to offer a solution for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The solution is aimed to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and orthodontics, keeping the care in same network.

"We believe the Vivos-Candid collaboration will provide for the first solution that seamlessly integrates sleep and orthodontic therapy to create better patient outcomes for treating OSA and enhance overall health and wellness across the board." said Kirk Huntsman, chairman and chief executive officer of Vivos. "We are hopeful that this joint effort will increase market penetration and accelerate revenue growth for both companies as we each attract and expand our respective North American dental and healthcare networks."

Under the collaboration, the companies will market the other’s products in order to provide an end-to-end treatment regimen. The companies are intending to focus the efforts on Vivos’ OSA treatment and CandidPro’s clear aligners. The collaboration will also include education and plans to evaluate research and development opportunities for medical devices aimed at improving OSA, snoring, and orthodontics.

"Vivos Therapeutics and Candid are where airway and sleep, oral health, and orthodontic therapy come together for the first time," said Nick Greenfield, co-founder and chief executive officer of Candid. "By combining Vivos' therapeutic protocol for OSA and its VIP doctor network with Candid's treatment methodology and CandidPro network, together we look forward to offering a full-service solution for patients suffering from OSA."
