uLab offers custom packaging for clear aligners

Maker of clear aligners, uLab Systems, has launched a custom packaging service for its uSmile aligners. The company, which offers uSmile and uDesign software to plan aligner treatment, claims the service is the first of its kind.

uLab’s service includes a lineup of color packaging that can be customized with the orthodontist practice’s logo, which is executed by graphic designers. Orders can be made at the same time as the uSmile aligner system, and eliminates the need for practices to separately order and maintain stock of packaging. The custom packaging service does not impact the 3 to 10 day delivery time for orders of aligner systems.

"With uDesign, the specialist designs the patient's individualized treatment plan, so their name should be on the package that ultimately is delivered to the patient,” said David Thrower, a chief commercial officer of uLab. “We want the patient to look to the orthodontist as the expert or "hero" who made their smile perfect, not the aligner brand. uLab is deeply committed to developing solutions that help the orthodontist take back control, and we are proud to be the first to offer custom packaging to accompany our uSmile aligners."
