Bioceramics to reach $23B by 2031: Fact.MR

Katherine E. Pfaff

According to a survey by Fact.MR, market research and competitive intelligence company, the bioceramics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7% from 2021 to 2031. The increase marks a 1.5 times change over the period, with the market value forecast to reach $23 billion in a decade. The market was valued at $14 billion in 2020.

The US is anticipated to demonstrate the highest growth and is considered the largest geographical segment based on sales. In 2020, the US market reached an estimated $4 billion.

The increase is expected in part as dental disease, and musculoskeletal diseases are reported at increasing rates. Bioceramics are expected to be used as the basis for orthopedic implants. Dental implants are expected to utilize bioceramics in devices, including bridges, crowns, dentures, and bristles. Growth within the market is also expected as applications for bioceramics increase, including orthopedics and dentistry.
