Oryx Dental Partners With Seattle Study Club

Oryx Dental, the leader in clinically focused, cloud-based dental practice management software (DPMS), and Seattle Study Club, the nation’s top dental education network, recently announced a new partnership. Joining as a Gold Tier member, Oryx Dental will bring its AI-powered, all-in-one cloud DPMS to Seattle Study Club members via a series of educational programs, conference programming, and more.

“Our members are curious, driven, and always looking to improve their dental practices, from clinical outcomes to operational excellence,” said Gary Dickenson, CEO of Seattle Study Club. “For over a decade, Oryx has been at the forefront of dental innovation. We’re thrilled to bring their software knowledge and expertise to our membership, alongside the establishment of a new scholarship to enable more dental professionals to continue their education.”

Beginning in 2026, Oryx Dental has established and underwritten the John Kois Scholarship, a new Seattle Study Club scholarship. Named for Kois Center founder John Kois, DMD, MSD, in honor of his pioneering techniques in evidence-based, holistic care and his lifelong contributions to dentistry, the scholarship is awarded annually to a Seattle Study Club member.

Scholarship awardees receive a free, one-year membership for a member of their study club. The 2026 award was presented to Tina Jung, DDS, MS, Director of the Los Angeles Dental Collective, and the 2027 award will be presented at the 2027 Seattle Study Club Symposium.

“Oral health is an integral part of overall health, connecting to many chronic diseases and conditions. Dentists play an important role in ensuring patients get the best oral care possible, helping to improve their health and lives,” said Rania Saleh, DDS, MSD, founder and CEO of Oryx. “We’re honored to establish the John Kois Scholarship in honor of my longtime mentor, Dr. Kois, and to partner with Seattle Study Club to provide programming around AI and cloud dental software.”

Founded in 2016, Oryx is used by over 15,000 clinicians across 2,000 dental practices. Since its inception, Oryx has processed over $5 billion in payments and helped treat over 7 million patients worldwide. The company was recognized as the #75 fastest-growing private American software company on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list.
