Colgate-Palmolive Announces Quarterly Dividend Increase and Elects Christopher Boerner, Ph.D. to Board of Directors

The board of directors of Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE:CL) recently announced an increase in the quarterly common stock cash dividend to $0.53 up from $0.52 per share. The increase will be effective in the second quarter, 2026. The board declared that the second quarter dividend is to be paid on May 15, 2026, to shareholders of record on April 20, 2026. On an annualized basis, the new dividend rate is $2.12 versus $2.08 per share previously. The company has paid uninterrupted dividends on its common stock since 1895.

Separately, the company also announced that Christopher Boerner, PhD, board chair and CEO of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (“Bristol Myers Squibb”), has been elected to Colgate-Palmolive’s board of directors effective March 15, 2026.

Dr. Boerner, 55, has served as CEO of Bristol Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company, since November 2023 and as board chair since April 2024 and will bring extensive global business leadership experience and expertise in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, complementary industries, to Colgate-Palmolive’s board. He previously served as executive vice president, chief operating officer of Bristol Myers Squibb in 2023 and as executive vice president, chief commercialization officer from 2018 to 2023. Prior to those roles, he served as head of international markets and head of U.S. commercial markets after joining Bristol Myers Squibb in 2015.

The Company also announced that Steven A. Cahillane advised the board that he will not stand for reelection to the board at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on May 8, 2026.
