With Gingividual® Concept Basic, Camlog expands the CAMLOG® and CONELOG® portfolio with anatomically pre-shaped, sterile PEEK healing caps developed specifically for digital impression workflows and a predefined emergence profile during the healing phase. The concept integrates seamlessly into established digital treatment workflows in dental practices and laboratories, supporting greater efficiency and standardisation throughout the restorative process.
The Gingividual® Concept Basic healing caps are tooth-position-specific and available in two gingival heights. This structured portfolio enables optimal component selection based on tooth position and clinical requirements, supporting consistent clinical outcomes. They are directly scannable, eliminating the need for a separate scan body. Digital impressions can therefore be taken with the healing cap in place, reducing component changes and creating a more efficient digital workflow. By removing the need for an impression post or scan body exchange, Gingividual® Concept Basic supports a more efficient digital workflow and aligns with the “One abutment, One time” concept, reducing unnecessary manipulation of the soft tissue.
For international markets, Gingividual® Concept Basic is launched as a digital-only solution, underscoring Camlog’s strategic focus on digital implant dentistry. The product offering centres exclusively on the healing caps and their integration into digital workflows. Analogue impression posts and analog workflows are not included in the international launch and remain available only in selected markets, reflecting the growing global adoption of digital impression techniques.
Gingividual® Concept Basic healing caps are compatible with CAMLOG® and CONELOG® implant systems and are supported by CAD libraries for exocad and 3Shape. This ensures efficient laboratory workflows and a reliable transfer of the emergence profile into restoration design, facilitating clear and consistent communication between dental practices and laboratories within a fully digital environment.
“With Gingividual® Concept Basic, we are offering clinicians and laboratories a standardised solution that simplifies digital workflows while supporting predictable soft tissue outcomes,” said Ilir Fazliu, Product Manager at Camlog Biotechnologies. “The international digital-only launch reflects our commitment to advancing efficient, future-oriented treatment concepts in implant dentistry.”
Through the international launch of Gingividual® Concept Basic, Camlog continues to strengthen its digital prosthetic portfolio, responding to the increasing demand for workflow-oriented, streamlined solutions and actively supporting the global transition toward digital treatment concepts in implant dentistry.
