Mars Wrigley awards $1.5 million in grants, including support for Save the Children

Katherine E. Pfaff

In honor of March 20th World Oral Health Day, Mars Wrigley Foundation offered $1.5 million in grant funding for oral care and education in areas with reduced ability to pay or reach services worldwide. The monies were awarded to seven organizations in Australia, China, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United States.

In an ongoing decade-long partnership to treat underserved patients’ oral health needs, the Foundation will provide support for Save the Children. This year Mars Wrigley Foundation has committed $700,000 to the organization, bolstering a collaborative effort that has assisted 2.4 million and provided 500,000 services during its tenure.
