Excel Endodontics Opens in Marlboro, NJ

Excel Endodontics, a new specialty dental practice founded by endodontist Dr. Rachel Halpern, is proud to announce its official opening in Marlboro, New Jersey, along with the launch of its new website, https://www.732endo.com. The practice was established in 2025 to provide advanced endodontic care with a focus on saving teeth, relieving pain, and creating a comfortable patient experience.

Excel Endodontics was founded with the mission of delivering precise, compassionate, and modern endodontic care to patients throughout Monmouth County and the surrounding communities. The practice is led by Dr. Rachel Halpern, an accomplished endodontist recognized for her extensive training in microsurgical techniques and her commitment to patient-centered care. The new office and website together reflect this dedication by offering a welcoming treatment environment and comprehensive online information about services, technology, and what patients can expect during their visit.

Dr. Halpern graduated summa cum laude from Muhlenberg College before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she received both the American Association of Endodontists Award and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Dentsply Pre-Doctoral Student Achievement Award. Following a one-year General Practice Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital, she completed a two-year residency in Endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and is currently board eligible.

“Opening Excel Endodontics and launching our new website is an exciting milestone,” said Dr. Rachel Halpern. “We built this practice to provide patients with access to advanced endodontic care in a supportive and compassionate setting. The website will serve as an extension of that mission, helping patients and referring dentists learn more about the services we provide and the technology we use.”

Dr. Halpern has earned national recognition for her research on external invasive resorption, which was presented at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting in Phoenix and published in the Journal of Endodontics in February 2025. She is also an active member of professional organizations including the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society, and Alpha Omega Dental Society.

Excel Endodontics provides the following services:

  • Root canal therapy
  • Endodontic retreatment
  • Microsurgical procedures including apicoectomy
