The DiamondClean 9900 Prestige is Now on Amazon

Unveiled in July 2026 , the new toothbrush enables people to see their brushing performance through an on-device mouth map and real-time, spatially aware guidance.

Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA) announced that the Philips Sonicare Next-Generation DiamondClean 9900 Prestige, its most advanced and intelligent toothbrush to date, is now available on Amazon . Unveiled in July 2026 , the new toothbrush enables people to see their brushing performance through an on-device mouth map and real-time, spatially aware guidance. As the No. 1 dentist-recommended power toothbrush brand in the U.S., Philips Sonicare draws on the company’s more than five decades of oral care expertise and deep clinical and health technology heritage, entering a new era in personalized oral care.

In a recent Sonicare user test, 85% of testers agreed that the Next-Generation DiamondClean 9900 Prestige toothbrush helped improve their brushing, while 92% agreed that Smart Coverage Feedback helped them become more aware of cleaned and uncleaned areas.*

“People should feel confident that their toothbrush helps them achieve a great clean every time, especially given the established connection between oral health and overall health,” said Matina Vidalis, Regional Business Unit Leader, Oral Healthcare, Philips Personal Health North America. “Grounded in more than 50 years of oral care expertise and clinical heritage, our Next-Generation DiamondClean brings highly intuitive coaching directly to the handle. Its Smart Mouth Map and light indicators guide users as they brush, helping them see and address missed spots in real time without an app, in a design that reflects the premium craftsmanship people expect from Philips Sonicare.”

The launch comes as new research shows brushing competes for attention at bedtime. According to a recent Philips Sonicare “Distracted Nighttime Brushing Study,”** conducted in May 2026, 82% of Americans multitask during their nighttime routines, rising to 92% among adults under 40, and 47% say they rush through brushing as a result. People surveyed also highlight a critical gap where confidence doesn’t always mean full coverage: while 91% of Americans say their teeth feel clean after brushing, 66% believe they miss areas.

Powered by Philips Sonicare’s third-generation AI and machine learning technology, the Philips Sonicare Next-Generation DiamondClean 9900 Prestige transforms brushing from guesswork into a data-driven, guided routine:

The Philips Sonicare Next-Generation DiamondClean 9900 Prestige removes 2,000% more plaque than a manual toothbrush¹ and delivers 1500% healthier gums² versus a manual toothbrush in just 6 weeks. Sonicare Fluid Action supports the bristles to clean by driving fluid deep between teeth and along the gumline.

The Philips Sonicare Next-Generation DiamondClean 9900 Prestige features an interactive display with 8 modes and 3 intensities and is available now on Amazon for $379.99 . Available colors include Silver White, Onyx Black, and Satin Mauve.

The Next-Generation DiamondClean 8500 is also available now on Amazon for $249.99 , featuring an interactive display along with 6 modes and 3 intensities. Available colors include Powder White, Black, and Blossom Pink.

Both models include a rechargeable travel case and charging glass and come in paper-based packaging. They are designed to be used alongside Philips Sonicare brush heads, 70%³ of which is attributed to bio-based plastic. Both models will be released on October 5, 2026, and are part of Philips Sonicare’s broader 2026 portfolio refresh , which also includes the new 5000–7000 Series.
