Dentsply Sirona will have daily in-booth training sessions, live demonstrations, exclusive promotions, and a special pre-conference workshop event featuring an array of industry experts for attendees of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session 2025 later this month.
The dental manufacturer will join the orthodontic community from April 25 to 27, in Philadelphia, PA. at the AAO annual meeting, showcasing the wide array of solutions and products it offers, with a specific focus on SureSmile® Digital Orthodontic Solutions.
Efficient Digital Workflow
SureSmile Solutions provides over 30 years of digital orthodontic expertise in a single, efficient platform. With multiple treatment planning capabilities, predictable treatment plans, and expert support, the platform is designed to help practices deliver an outstanding treatment experience for their patients.
The SureSmile Digital Orthodontic Software Suite includes sophisticated planning and diagnostic tools and customization options for simple to complex cases that need treatment with fixed and/or removable appliance systems. From Interdisciplinary Planning for Surgery and IDB design, to robotically bent labial or lingual wire treatment and aligner therapy the features on SureSmile’s single platform provide orthodontists the control, insights, and flexibility to make the best treatment decisions for their patients, according to Dentsply Sirona. With flexibility to manufacture in-house or in our lab, SureSmile allows for efficiency in practice management.
AAO Presentations, Live Demonstrations
Prior to the official start of AAO 2025, SureSmile experts will host a special pre-conference workshop event on Thursday, April 24. “The SureSmile® Orthodontic Platform Difference” will explore how orthodontists can scale digitally. The event will feature presentations from key industry leaders and professionals. Registration is open until April 11.
Attendees will learn more about the SureSmile Software and appliances, and in a following session, Dr. Nicole M. Jane, an orthodontist at The Big Smile in Livonia, Michigan, will discuss how to do more with SureSmilealigners and custom wires.
After these two sessions, the event will shift its focus toward real-world implementation. Presenters will address how to use the solution in the workflow of aligner and wire integration and how it can be utilized in clear aligners.
“SureSmile has completely transformed my approach to orthodontic treatment. The digital workflow gives me more control, more flexibility, and ultimately, more confidence in delivering outstanding results,” said Dr. Jane, in a press release. “The ability to seamlessly integrate aligners and wires within one digital workflow is an absolute game changer as well; I can easily integrate aligners and braces into one patient’s treatment plan. I’m excited to share how SureSmile empowers us to do more—not only for our patients, but for the efficiency and growth of our practices.”
Booth #1501 Highlights
During the upcoming AAO conference, attendees are invited to explore the Dentsply Sirona booth (#1501), where a variety of engaging presentations and training sessions will be held daily at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. These sessions will cover topics such as full-service aligners, indirect bonding, doctor-designed treatment planning, advanced diagnostics, and orthodontic case conversion conversations.
The booth will also host presentations from industry leaders, including several speakers from the pre-conference event—providing a great opportunity for orthodontic professionals to gain insights from experts in the field.
Another highlight of the SureSmile booth will be the showcase of the Primescan, the first intraoral scanning solution featuring its next-level enhancements recently presented at IDS in Germany. These enhancements include the faster SureSmile® Simulator— which requires the user to have a DS Core subscription and Primescan IOS—which allow for the automatic initiation of tooth segmentation and smile simulation immediately after taking a Primescan 2 treatment scan. This innovation reduces calculation times by up to 90%, facilitating a more efficient patient consultation process, according to Dentsply Sirona data on file.
