LIBERTY Appoints Dorie Ramey as Chief People Officer

LIBERTY Dental Plan announced the appointment of Dorie Ramey as chief people officer.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of such a highly accomplished professional to LIBERTY’s executive leadership team,” said Tom Choate, president, and chief executive officer of LIBERTY. “Dorie joins LIBERTY at a transformative time in our history as we expand our focus to improving the oral health of our communities through a whole-person approach. We look forward to the leadership she brings to our growing organization.”

Ramey brings nearly 30 years of experience in both healthcare consulting and corporate Human Resources roles, serving in chief human resources officer and chief people officer roles at high-growth care organizations such as Cotiviti and naviHealth. Most recently, she served as chief people officer at Eating Recovery Center, where she reported to the CEO and was responsible for talent acquisition, management and development, people operations and services, teammate experience, compensation, benefits, and people business partners for over 2,500 employees.

Ramey holds a BS in marketing from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Georgia.
