Henry Schein Medical to Showcase a Range of Solutions for First Responders at EMS & FIRE PRO EXPO

Henry Schein Medical, the U.S. medical business of Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC), will be exhibiting at the EMS & FIRE PRO Expo, New England’s largest EMS & FIRE conference. From October 25 through October 28 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, the Henry Schein Medical EMS booth (#718) will feature a comprehensive selection of products and technologies designed to help ambulance companies, EMS agencies, fire departments, and law enforcement, continue to serve the population at large. The team will be onsite to discuss how Henry Schein Medical supports the future of the industry by providing tools for community paramedicine, mobile integrated health programs, and other community-based models.

Various product demonstrations will be available in the Henry Schein Medical EMS booth during the Meeting, including the Butterfly portable ultrasound, ByoPlanet Jet H2 Ultra™ portable disinfecting spraying device, GE HealthCare Vscan Air™ ultrasound, Masimo Rad-57® Pulse CO-Oximeter®, and VendNovation, an inventory control vending solution.

North American Rescue will also be at the EMS & FIRE PRO Expo (booth #631), where it will showcase its Enhanced ARS® (Air Release System) Decompression needle. The needle incorporates new features that are designed to help improve the safety, efficacy, and speed of needle chest decompression for the treatment of tension pneumothorax. Building on the success of the ARS® needles, the Enhanced ARS® boasts a sharpened needle tip for scalpel-like insertion, three fenestrations in the catheter for faster air pressure release, and, to help prevent the incident of occlusion, centimeter markings to help enable precise insertion depth control.
