Krishna Maridi joins Sonrava Health as CFO

Krishna Maridi has joined Sonrava Health as chief financial officer (CFO), effective July 10. Sonrava Health is a national family of health and wellness companies, including differentiated dental office brands, dental and vision benefit plans, provider networks, and consumer products and services, with a focus on quality, value, and innovation.

According to a news release, Maridi brings more than 25 years of U.S. and international financial leadership experience to Sonrava Health. Most recently, he served as CFO of Galderma U.S., a Dallas-based unit of the global dermatological treatments and skincare firm Galderma S.A. Prior to that, he was a vice president at PPD, Inc., a global contract research organization for the pharmaceutical industry, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

At PPD, he led Financial Planning & Analysis and Capital Markets, supporting an initial public offering and other capital raises, navigating successfully through the COVID pandemic, managing well-received quarterly earnings calls and leading the successful sale to Thermo Fisher Scientific. Before that, Maridi spent 22 years with Pfizer Inc., progressing from a management trainee in Mumbai to CFO of the Global Vaccines Business Unit in New York.

Daniel Crowley, chair and CEO of Sonrava Health, said in the news release that Maridi’s experience in health care finance and his track record of driving positive changes will be valuable as Sonrava Health continues to grow and fulfill its mission of expanding access to affordable, high-quality dental care.

Maridi said that Sonrava Health has been serving the oral health needs of millions of families for over a century. He applauded his new and accomplished team for its entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to quality and innovation in the DSO sector.

Maridi holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Birla Institute of Science and Technology in Pilani, India. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India and a master’s degree of business administration from Icfain Business School, Mumbai.
