Dr. Thomas A. Paron, DDS, was recently recognized by the Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Life Member for his work as an orthodontist.
According to a Jan. 23 news release, Paron earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in biochemistry and mathematics from Alma College and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He subsequently earned a master’s degree in orthodontics from the University of Detroit Mercy.
Paron is board-certified in orthodontics and practices in Grand Blanc, Clarkston and Lapeer, Michigan. He provides comprehensive orthodontic treatments for adults and children. Paron uses both traditional metal wires and brackets as well as ceramic brackets if a more aesthetic look is desired. He is also trained in Invisalign and other clear aligner methods that are available for orthodontic treatment.
Before deciding on the proper treatment options for each patient, Paron must recognize various characteristics of a malocclusion or dentofacial growth abnormality, define the nature of the problem, including the etiology or cause, and design a treatment strategy based on the specific needs and desires of each patient. He provides his patients with several options for treatment as well as the benefits and drawbacks of each, to assist the patient and family in deciding the proper course of treatment.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics and the Michigan Association of Orthodontics -Detroit chapter.
