Georgia Dental Association partnered with financial services provider for dentists, veterinarians, and physicians, Panacea Financial. The partnership would allow for student loan refinancing for members of the GDA.
“We know that it is extremely difficult to become a dentist and that the cost to train can be burdensome to many. That is why it is vital for us to provide the dental community with options for their student loans that make sense for them,” said Tyler Stafford, chartered financial analyst, chief executive officer, and co-founder of Panacea. “At Panacea we are able to allow dentists and dentists-in-training to refinance their student loans in a way that is both accessible and understanding of the sacrifices dentists make in training and practice.”
Panacea provides financial services for practitioners to allow for training and practice. Georgia Dental Association includes more than 3600 practitioners. Panacea’s offerings range from practice loans, personal loans to refinancing of student loans.
"We are pleased to partner with Panacea Financial to offer dental student loan refinancing options to our members," said Dr. Zach Powell, president of GDA.
“The financial cost of becoming a dentist can be daunting, with new dentists today starting their careers owing over $300,000 in educational debt,” said Frank J. Capaldo, executive director of GDA. “Offering innovative solutions to our members is critical in addressing the burden of student debt faced by today's dental school graduates.”
