Biolase launches podcast

Dental laser company, Biolase Inc., has released a podcast on its technologies. Episodes are currently available on Spotify and Apple platforms. 

"With the creation of the Advancing Dentistry Podcast, Biolase is once again leading the path to improve the standard of care in dentistry and is positioned to advance our commitment to dental education," said John Beaver, president and chief executive officer of Biolase. "Offering education in the podcast format will further our global reach and educate customers on the industry-leading standard of Waterlase and Epic laser dentistry."

The current lineup of podcasts focuses on the company’s technology, its protocols, and implementation of the laser technology into a dental facility’s practice. The series is hosted by periodontist, Dr. Stephen John, who has more than a decade of experience with Waterlase. 

Episodes are about an hour long and include educational information. The format is interviews with experts in dental lasers and respected dental educators. There are presently 7 episodes available at no charge. Topics discussed include management of peri-implantitis with Dr. Sam Low, chief dental officer at Biolase, procedures for restorative and soft tissue performed by a general dentist with Dr. Howard Golan. Additionally, hygienist, Lynn Atkinson, discusses Epic diode lasers in dental hygiene.
